NO ME SALEN
THEORETICAL NOTES AND EXERCISES OF PHYSICS AND BIOPHYSICS

The usual kinematics problems resolution method used by almost everybody.

The majority of Physics professors, engineers and Physicists of Argentina, the world and nearly all the entire Solar System, solve Physics problems- and specially kinematics problems-... with wittiness.

Is that wrong? No, not at all; It is not only stimulating,it is also fun. But in may cases when I wonder why cannot a student solve an exercise, I found that the reason is that "they can't figure it out"; he's waiting for that sudden spark of brightness that the professor shows everyday in the classroom.

It is such a wide custom that it has been able to build an elitist image of physics; only for little geniuses, only for little Einsteins. But Physics is a science as democratic as any other.

In those solved exercises guides you may find anywhere, many resolutions make use of witty strategies, or (almost) magical or complementary formulas; or secuences of changes in the reference system and so on, I have them numbered. The tactics consist of "Figuring out" the exercise, in such a way that we can find the answer in two or three algebraic steps tops. Maybe it is fun, maybe even stimulating... I don't think that that teaches a lot. I even find it a little sadist to pretend that in the exam's day (where you arrive tired, having slept badly, stressed, nervious, anguished and with a knot on your stomach) teachers want you to sit down and out of nowhere, in an inspiration rapture, solve all the tricky problems they had prepared for you to solve in 13 and a half minutes each.

What I propose is a non-smart-at-all method... but an infallible one. The No me salen method Enjoy it
