Silly Things
The Magi

I can't provide any proof. It's just a hunch, an intuition I have. What I think is that lying to kids from little ones about a fantasy world where there are Three Wise Men as well as a Santa Claus that in the course of one night is able to deliver toys to millions of homes just riding through the air on a sled pulled by reindeers is a stuff that delays rational thought acquisition in children and, on the contrary, sticks in their minds the warmly welcome idea of a universe governed as if by magic. Hard to be reversed!

Then comes the time when at school they
are encouraged to develop critical thinking, so as to become reliable citizens who will not be easily fooled.

What the hell we are playing at!
